Draymond Green, a mainstay of the Golden State Warriors, also jumped aboard the excitement train surrounding Victor Wembanyama, the San Antonio Spurs rookie.

After a 113-117 victory for the Warriors, Green made post-game remarks and praised the youngster, who has been playing well this season.

“He is a very, very, very, very special talent,” Green said. “I was just telling Trayce [Jackson-Davis] and those guys, I’m happy I had an opportunity to play against him now because they’ll have to deal with him a lot later, and I won’t be in the league no more,” the forward said.

There is a 14-year gap between Green, aged 34, and Wembanyama, aged 20.

While the narrow loss was disappointing for the Spurs, the French prospect had a good game for himself. He scored 32 points (10/22 FG), grabbed 9 rebounds, dished out 5 assists (4 TO), and had 4 steals in 31 minutes.

As for Green, the experienced forward also had an impressive game with 21 points (8/9 FG), 6 rebounds, 11 assists (5 TO), and 6 steals.
