Giants Sign Superstar LB Brian Burns To Monster 5-Year Extension After Blockbuster Trade With Panthers & Fans Are Losing It

Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo, the Giants acquired the star pass-rusher in exchange for second and fifth-round picks. Burns then agreed to a lucrative five-year contract worth a max value of $150 million.
The Burns trade and immediate extension sent X/Twitter into quite a frenzy, to say the very least. If you’ll recall, Carolina rejected the Los Angeles Rams’ offer of two first-round picks for Burns ahead of the 2022 trade deadline.
