One of Aaron Rodgers’ former Green Bay Packers teammates called out the four-time league MVP on X/Twitter in a since-deleted tweet, accusing the 40-year-old of refusing to help him.

Amari Rodgers played with Aaron Rodgers for two seasons in Green Bay, but the former was never able to find his game in Titletown. The No. 85 pick of the 2021 NFL Draft was primarily used as a special teams return man but was cut late in his sophomore year due to fumbling issues.

If you ask Amari, perhaps things would have been different if Aaron had shown him more support during his short-lived run with the Packers.

Ari Meirov passed along a heartwarming story about Aaron Rodgers going out of his way to welcome New York Jets rookie wideout Malachi Corley to the team. Responding to Meirov’s post, Amari called out Aaron for not showing him any “love” in Green Bay.

The tweet has since been deleted, but you can view a screenshot of it below:

The Packers have a long history of finding stud receivers in days two and three of the NFL Draft, but they obviously missed on the Amari Rodgers pick here. Following short-lived stints with the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts, he joined with Birmingham Stallions of the United Football League.

Aaron Rodgers Wasn’t Friends With Everyone In Green Bay

During his storied tenure in Green Bay, Aaron Rodgers was never afraid to criticize his teammates on offense publicly. The issue came up frequently during a roller-coaster of a 2022 season that saw the Pack finish 8-9 to miss out on the postseason.

Rodgers tried to lead by example in Titletown, but it’s clear that his outspoken ways and strategies to fire up his teammates (with open criticism) did not work for everybody. One of Rodgers’ best teammates, ex-wide receiver Greg Jennings, has not been shy in calling out the future Hall of Famer for his treatment of players.
