The auction of the game-worn jersey was conducted by Goldin Auctions, the same firm that auctioned Kobe’s championship ring. The jersey was from the #24 jersey from 2009 NBA finals game 3 which the Lakers lost to the Magic.

Kobe Bryant scored 31 points and had eight assists to his name in that game. However, the fact that the Black Mamba won his only Finals MVP award that season added tremendous value to the item.
