Many Phoenix Suns fans entered the season with NBA Championship expectations for their team.
After a frustrating 104-102 loss to the shorthanded 16-56 San Antonio Spurs on Monday night, the team is now 42-30, in eighth place in the Western Conference and nowhere near the expectations many had for the Suns before the season.
Phoenix fans sounded off about the “embarrassing” loss to the Spurs after the game on social media, with many re-examining their expectations for the disappointing NBA team that has just 10 games left in the regular season.
A postgame score post from the Suns’ official X account particularly became a venting session for disgruntled, frustrated and angry fans of the NBA team in replies to the post.
