Roger Goodell at the NFL Draft
Rumors are swirling and mock NFL drafts are dropping.

Many are pointing to one team in the NFL Draft in the top 5 that could be looking to move elsewhere.

Bleacher Report‘s Jordan Schultz is revealing that the Arizona Cardinals are a “sleeper” team that could trade out of the top five.

The NFL draft is in a month and the latest buzz has been whether the Arizona Cardinals will end up trading the fourth overall pick to a team needing a quarterback.

“If you’re looking for a sleeper team to move back, I think Arizona at 4 is gonna move back,” Schultz said on the “Pat McAfee Show.” “They’re not married to 4. They don’t need a quarterback. They can move back and address some other positions.”

A team looking to grab an incoming quarterback would be willing to give the Arizona Cardinals a blockbuster deal filled with NFL Draft capital as well as a player or two to make the deal happen.

These mock trades all have the Cardinals coming away with a pretty nice haul, with this year’s first and various combinations of firsts next year and possibly day two picks this year or next.

The Cardinals are certainly not trying to nab a quarterback in the NFL Draft, but if they choose to keep it, it could net them the next best available player at a different position.

The Arizona Cardinals Desperately Need A No. 1 WR In The NFL Draft

The Cardinals officially signed wide receiver Chris Moore this week after the team traded Rondale Moore to the Falcons and saw Hollywood Brown depart as a free agent to the Chiefs.

They are expected to draft a wide receiver early in the process next month and that need at an important position could lead them to select Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr. with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, and the fit makes sense.

The Cardinals have already met with Harrison as well as with Washington Huskies WR Rome Odunze at the Combine, who could go in the top ten as well.
