Paul Pierce, a former NBA player, has started a debate with his offensive remarks regarding Minnesota Timberwolves player Rudy Gobert.

After spending 19 seasons in the NBA, Paul Pierce has become an NBA analyst. During a recent episode of the famous show “The Undisputed,” Pierce made comments about the French players and Rudy Gobert. He said that Rudy Gobert, apart from being the defensive player of the year, was not intimidating anybody.

Paul Pierce said that Victor Wembanyama has a sexy language

Moreover, Pierce also targeted Victor Wembanyama, saying that Wemby is not a tough guy. Wemby speaks soft language; according to him, that looks soft for him.

“And then I see a guy like Rudy Gobert get chocked by Draymond [Green], he first said. You’re a Defensive Player of the Year but that’s not intimidating nobody, That’s my perception of Wemby, he’s not a tough guy. He speaks a sexy language, that’s not something we respect as a tough guy,” Pierce said during the interview.

Although Pierce acknowledged Gobert’s ability and contributions to his club, he hinted that Gobert is not viewed as a player whom NBA players, including himself, should be wary of on the court. He referred to a previous incident in which Gobert and Draymond Green had a physical argument, hinting that Gobert’s reaction was not terrifying.

Despite Pierce’s criticism, Gobert’s team, the Minnesota Timberwolves, has been winning NBA games. With a 51-23 record, they have established themselves as a formidable opponent in the Western Conference. Furthermore, Gobert is expected to earn Defensive Player of the Year, underscoring his importance on the court in addition to his physical abilities.

Pierce may have criticized Gobert for being too rough, but Gobert is capable of winning defensive player of the Year. He may be challenging Pierce’s comments with his strength and determination on the court.
