Victor Wembanyama has the whole league worried – and for good reason

San Antonio Spurs rookie big man Victor Wembanyama was, as most rookies are, a bit shaky when he arrived in the NBA after having played his entire basketball career abroad in lower-level leagues.

But the Le Chesnay native has since put together one of the better rookie campaigns we have seen in the history of the modern NBA.

Despite having taken a while for his defense and shooting to find their footing at this level, the French phenom has since raised his 3-point shot above league average, and become stout enough on defense to be a real Defensive Player of the Year candidate.

And to think he has done all of this without a traditional point guard on San Antonio’s roster for much of the season!
