Caleb Williams is arguably the biggest name in football right now as it is a foregone conclusion that he will be selected as the number one overall draft pick.
With so much press about him, the haters and critics are just waiting for any and everything he does to try and bring him down. That happened recently when the 22-year-old was in attendance at the Galen Center on Monday to watch the USC women’s basketball team take on the Kansas Jayhawks in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Williams, who was wearing a yellow hoodie, went viral after cameras caught him with a pink iPhone case, pink wallet, and what appeared to be pink nails and possibly pink lipstick.
Many of the online comments were predictably negative.
Days later, Caleb Williams was back in another video, but with a message to his critics.
The soon-to-be number overall draft pick held up his hand to show that his nails were clear, his lips were pink, and that his critic’s girlfriends loved it.
Boom. Roasted.
Arguably the most hyped quarterback prospect in a decade, Caleb Williams played his college football for USC the past two years. In 2022, Caleb Williams took the college football world by storm as he won the Heisman Trophy. He threw for 4,537 yards and 42 touchdowns and ran for 382 yards and 10 touchdowns.
This past season, he wasn’t as dynamic but he still had gaudy numbers as he racked up 3,633 yards, 30 touchdowns, and five interceptions with his best single-season passer rating to date (170.1), via ESPN.com.
Caleb Williams Has Been Compared To Patrick Mahomes Coming Out of College

Caleb Williams, the quarterback for the USC Trojans, is set to prove himself against the comparisons to Patrick Mahomes and he has yet to take an NFL snap in his career.
Caleb Williams definitely has the physical talent and inner drive to be the NFL’s next great quarterback, but trying to live up to a three-time Super Bowl champion is a tall task to ask of anybody.
Many have commented on how Williams can be the next big thing in football, and he will get his chance to prove it in a few months.
