They have four games left in their regular season schedule, which allows them to sneak into a postseason berth. Few NBA fans would have responded yes a few months ago when you asked them whether they thought the Los Angeles Lakers would make this kind of a push at this point in the season.
They have, nonetheless, exceeded those predictions by going on a late-season tear. They have a lot of momentum now as they move forward. The Lakers have just four games remaining in their schedule as the NBA draws nearer to the postseason.
They will play the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday. At the moment, both teams are tied for the #1 seed in the Western Conference. This season, they have already met twice and ended in drawing.
