Los Angeles Lakers won their fourth straight game on Saturday, defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers 116-97. As per the NBA website, with a 45-33 record, they are currently #8 in the Western Conference. Now, LeBron James and company are only 1 game and a half behind the sixth spot.

They have four games left in their regular season schedule, which allows them to sneak into a postseason berth. Few NBA fans would have responded yes a few months ago when you asked them whether they thought the Los Angeles Lakers would make this kind of a push at this point in the season.

They have, nonetheless, exceeded those predictions by going on a late-season tear. They have a lot of momentum now as they move forward. The Lakers have just four games remaining in their schedule as the NBA draws nearer to the postseason.
