Daniel Craig led No Time To Die, the fifth film and last film of the actor in the James Bond franchise was critically praised for its overall performance that even grossed well in theatres.

While everyone enjoyed the movie, Phoebe Waller-Bridge shared her opinions during a recent talk at London’s Haymarket Theatre on the movie and admitted how she had not prepared much before getting involved in the project.

“I should naturally have done a lot of Bond research [but] I didn’t do a huge amount of research for it. I’m not very good at homework. That says a lot.”

Despite her less preparation, she eventually enjoyed developing other characters while learning about it.

“It is fun playing in someone else’s sandpit for a while as you learn stuff. I certainly learned what my Bond film would be like.”

She continued to state how her ideas would have affected the same.

“I learned how mine might have been slightly too camp. A bit misogynistic really. Daniel [Craig] knows that character better than anyone.”

Despite not doing much homework, she was concerned when she got to know how Craig’s character would go through a tragic ending.

The actress opened up about being nervous when she was putting her name on the final project as she then got to know about the tragic ending 007 would get in the movie.

She shared,

“I read the script not knowing. They had not told me and I was reading it and I was like, ‘No.’ I was angry, then I thought ‘What the hell, everyone is going to blame me anyway.’ I definitely want to be involved.”

She clarified that everyone might blame her for what happened with the spy in the film. However, the death sequence was what the lead actor wanted for his character.

He had previously opened up about getting away from the character after doing just one film, however, he continued to break the charts and decided to finally put his hat down in his fifth movie in the franchise.
