Victor Wembanyama put on another incredible effort on Friday night as the San Antonio Spurs upset the Denver Nuggets. With 34 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, and two blocks in the game, Wembanyama became only the fifth rookie in NBA history to record this kind of stat line in a game, following in the footsteps of Kevin Durant, Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neale, and David Robinson, according to StatHead.

Victor Wembanyama is the only rookie in NBA history to have at least 34 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, two blocks, and 5 made threes in a single game when you include his five made threes in this contest. Wembanyama expressed his desire for this one after the game with a lot of emotion.

Even if the Spurs don’t make the playoffs, Victor Wembanyama and his colleagues care a lot about starting the following season on a solid note. Denver lost severely because it is no longer the only team with the #1 seed.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are now in first position and can secure the top seed with a victory in the season finale since they have the tiebreaker against Denver. Entering play on Friday, Denver led OKC by one game and was in charge of their route to the top spot. Denver is in a difficult situation since they will need to lose to OKC in the season finale to reclaim that slot.

Victor Wembanyama Put On a Great Performance to Hold Nikola Jokic

This season, the reigning champs have easily defeated several of the top NBA clubs. Nobody anticipated that Alien Victor Wembanyama would cause problems for the Nuggets and Nikola Jokic. A former center for the Boston Celtics was taken aback by Wembanyama’s heroics when the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Nuggets in his season-ending matchup.

The finest thing was how Victor Wembanyama guided the group to a 23-point victory over the Nuggets. The internet was in complete shock.

Despite Jamal Murray’s 35-point outburst, the Spurs won the game with a last-second basket, providing a preview of their style of play in the future. When Jokic tried a jumper from the free-throw line, the Nuggets were up by one. Devonte Graham sealed the Spurs’ 121-120 victory against Murray with a difficult floater after his costly miss. Wembanyama was not interested in the Nuggets finishing the season strong.
