LaMelo Ball’s reckless driving garners heartbreaking words from a victim

LaMelo Ball has recently come under fire for his reckless driving, which many had believed had not resulted in any serious incidents. Yet, a Charlotte family has come forward to share a tragic story that contradicts this belief.

According to the Hornets family, Ball allegedly drove over 11-year-old Angell Joseph’s foot, breaking it, after ignoring the boy’s request for an autograph. The boy’s mother shared heart-breaking words from his son after the incident.

“[Angell] was like, ‘LaMelo, I love you. I love you, sign my … give me your autograph. Can you sign it for me?’ she told.

The incident reportedly took place when fans were approaching players after an event. As Angell eagerly sought an autograph from Ball, the player’s inattentive driving led to the accident.
