Harley Quinn actress gives a hint during game with Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show”
Does Will Smith’s character die in the next “Suicide Squad” movie? Jimmy Fallon thinks so.
That’s because Margot Robbie was Fallon’s guest on Monday’s “Tonight Show,” where they played a game called “Loaded Questions.” In the new game (which we promise is not James Corden’s “Spill Your Guts, Fill Your Guts”), Robbie was forced to give an answer to a question, but could either then reveal the question or choose to take a specialty shot.
To her second question, Robbie simply answered, “Will Smith.” She then downed a blue shot topped with a boysenberry called an “Adios Mofos.”
Fallon guessed that it has something to do with “Suicide Squad 2” and wondered if it meant that Smith’s character Deadshot might not make it out alive. Though for all we know, the question Robbie answered could’ve been about which of the cast members she most has a crush on.
“Suicide Squad 2” will be written by James Gunn, and TheWrap reported that Gunn may even direct the film, which will be a completely new take on the property.
Robbie also talked to Fallon about “Birds of Prey,” a Harley Quinn spinoff movie where she stars alongside a team of supervillain women. She previously revealed a photo of a script for the film with the full title of the film scrawled in her handwriting, “Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn).” Robbie clarified that this is the official title of the new movie and explained why it’s a good fit.
“It’s not a very serious movie, and we thought the title should reflect that,” Robbie said in a separate clip. “‘Birds of Prey’ makes it sound very serious, but this is kind of Harley adding in, ‘Hey I’m in this too.”
She also said that she wanted to tinker with a long title and was inspired by the Scandinavian comedy “The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared.”
Robbie has not yet started shooting on the film, but “Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of one Harley Quinn)” will be released on Feb. 7, 2020 via Warner Bros.
