Greg Hardy isn’t having the best time in the ring following his six-year NFL career.
The former Ole Miss star was a Pro Bowler and second-team All-Pro in the NFL but endured a troubled time in the league.
The erstwhile defensive end has transitioned to combat sports, but it’s safe to say he isn’t finding much success. Hardy had a brief spell in the UFC, where he put together a 7-5-0 (1 NC) record before he was released in the wake of three straight knockout losses.
The 35-year-old was knocked out less than 20 seconds into the second round of his bare-knuckle boxing debut and didn’t fare any better following a move to Team Combat league.
He went up against Team Samoa’s Patrick Mailata in Los Angeles Thursday night and suffered another brutal KO.
Check it out below:
“Every time I see a clip of him, he’s always getting knocked out,” a user observed.
“Can never get enough of seeing Hardy flatlined,” one comment read.
A fan joked, “How many times this guy been slept in the last 2 years lol.”
Greg Hardy Had A Short NFL Career
Greg Hardy, who played for the Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys, only lasted six years in the NFL despite being very good at what he did.
The former DE was suspended for 10 games in 2015 for violating the NFL’s Personal Conduct Policy, having been arrested for domestic violence, but saw it reduced to four games as the charges were expunged from his record, albeit the revelation of some telling photos.
He was arrested for cocaine possession in Dallas the following year.
Hardy played in The Spring League in 2017 before signing with the American Arena League’s Richmond Roughriders in 2018.
