This is the singer’s fourth tattoo and she assures that she is going for more.
Billie shows off her newest body art.
Billie Eilish just turned the ink game up a notch, and fans are buzzing over her latest reveal. After teasing her fans with a sneak peek a month ago, the 21-year-old pop sensation has finally shown off her sprawling back tattoo in all its glory.
In a Wednesday Instagram carousel that included jack-o’-lanterns, and a Drake lyric referencing her, Eilish dropped a bombshell with a shot of her massive back tattoo.
The black-ink design, extending from the nape of her neck to the lower back, boasts an abstract and sci-fi-esque aesthetic, a style gaining popularity among stars like Grimes. Matias Milan, the tattoo artist credited in her earlier post, is the mastermind behind this intricate creation.
The photo seemed to capture the inking process, revealing the initial outline just after completion. In her previous teaser, the tattoo was entirely filled in, leaving fans curious about the final result.
Billie’s body art collection
This significant back piece is the latest addition to Eilish’s growing collection of body art. While she initially expressed a desire to keep her tattoos private, she shifted gears in 2021, declaring her love for ink and indicating there might be more to come.
In September 2021, eagle-eyed fans spotted a hand tattoo at the world premiere of “No Time to Die,” featuring two fairies huddled closely, holding personal significance for Eilish.
“I just got this a few weeks ago, which is some fairies that are from a book that I had growing up, a little fairy book called Fairyopolis,” the celebrity said in an interview for “Vanity Fair.”
They’re like my little guardian angel fairies.
June 2021’s British Vogue cover revealed a mysterious dragon climbing her leg, adding to the intrigue of her tattoo tales. And let’s not forget her first tattoo, the scripted “Eilish” on her chest, inked in January 2020 after winning six Grammy Awards.
Billie’s ink journey continues to captivate fans, making every reveal an event. As she navigates the realm of body art, it seems the only constant is her evolving canvas, and we can’t wait to see what’s next in the ever-expanding gallery of Billie Eilish’s inked stories.
