Concerts in Fortnite have become quite an attraction. Marshmello was the first to show what a virtual concert could look like. Then it was Travis Scott’s turn, earning millions of dollars through his collaboration with Epic Games. Next was a performance by Ariana Grandein the game, which garnered a lot of attention and was likely as lucrative as the other concerts.
Then Eminem announced the new Fortnite Festival Mode, continued by The Weeknd and Lady Gaga. And according to Fortnite’s leaked roadmap, Billie Eilish could now be the next superstar of Fortnite Festival.
Billie Eilish Could Join Fortnite Festival
Leaks about Billie Eilish coming to Fortnite circulated on the internet years ago. Donald Mustard, former Chief Creative Officer of Epic, posted the following on Twitter about a Billie Eilish concert he attended with his family:
“I think @billieeilish and @finneas are both among our greatest living musicians. So… this is my youngest daughter’s ‘first’ concert. Her voice is original. Her heart beats wild. And she’s alive!!!”
At that time, it was probably just seen as a regular social media post and nothing more, but with the recently leaked roadmap, everything now makes sense!
According to their Fortnite Festival schedule, the roadmap will look like this:
Festival Season 3: Billie Eilish (April & May)
Festival Season 4: Metallica (June, July & August)
Festival Season 5: Karol G (August, September & October)
Festival Season 6: Snoop Dogg (October, November & December)
Accordingly, Billie Eilish could join Fortnite with the start of Fortnite Festival Season 3 on April 23, 2024!
However, these pieces of information have not yet been officially confirmed by Epic Games. But starting the summer with a Billie Eilish performance sounds pretty good, doesn’t it?
