Patrick Mahomes is giving fans some insight on his good pal Travis Kelce, who has become the talk of the town recently since sparking up a romance with pop superstar Taylor Swift.

Mahomes, Kelce’s teammate on the Kansas City Chiefs, recently shared how the tight end has changed since his highly-publicized relationship with Swift—but according to the all-star quarterback, his friend is just the same as he’s always been.

“He’s just been himself the whole time,” Mahomes, 28, told reporters during a press conference on Wednesday, Jan. 24, insisting that the fame hasn’t gone to Kelce’s head. “He’s still Travis Kelce.”

Even before his whirlwind romance with the “Cruel Summer” songstress, Kelce, 34, was on his way to becoming a star, both on and off the football field.
