Swift isn’t the only member of the Kelce family that could appear, of course. Donna Kelce has become a celebrity in her own right, as has Jason’s wife Kylie. No one would generate as much interest as Swift, however, and that has some fans of the pop star wondering whether she might drop into the episode.

The Kelce brothers don’t live stream their episodes and didn’t provide a time for the holiday special’s release, so viewers can expect the episode to be released in full some time during the day on Friday.

“New Heights” episodes typically run about 75-90 minutes, but it isn’t clear whether the holiday episode will be any shorter or longer as Travis and Jason prepare for their respective games on Sunday.

The podcast is where Travis’ connection to Swift famously began. The Chiefs tight end explained in a July episode his failed attempt to give Swift his phone number at one of the pop star’s “Eras Tour” concerts, which turned out to be one of the best decisions of his life.

The whirlwind year that was 2023 for Kelce and Swift would come full circle if Swift makes a surprise appearance on “New Heights” for the holidays.

The Kelce brothers have little choice but to record episodes early in the week, at least during the NFL season. As practices and preparation ramp up late in the week ahead of a game, there simply wouldn’t be as much time to record a full-length episode on a Thursday or Friday.

This week, however, the Kelce brothers are going all out for their holiday special. After Travis addressed the Chiefs’ recent struggles during Wednesday’s episode, expect the holiday edition to take on a lighter tone — with or without Swift.
