Katy Perry has teamed up with Grammy-nominated DJ-producer Alesso, as the music video for their first-ever collaboration, When I’m Gone, dropped on Monday.

The video was directed by Hannah Lux Davis – who previously helmed videos for Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Nicki Minaj, Drake, Miley Cyrus, Jessie J, Halsey, Christina Aguilera, and Charli XCX.

The clip starts with the 37-year-old pop diva making a call inside an old-fashion phone booth and saying: ‘You know, I just think it’s time to give them everything they want.’

Katy is accompanied inside a Los Angeles factory by the new Spot, a four-legged robot made by Boston Dynamics.

Perry (born Katheryn Hudson) is then seen performing a choreographed dance number in an inch puddle of water with thigh-high white boots on.

The American Idol judge is also seen wearing a purple jumpsuit with matching opera gloves while performing with even more back-up dancers.

The third set-up for When I’m Gone – originally released on December 29 – was inside a sterile server room filled with computers and red lasers.
