Katy Perry fans got quite the surprise on Friday when the star handed out cherry pies in New York’s Times Square.
The Roar star recently debuted her brand new single titled Bon Appetit.
To promote the track, Katy launched a World’s Best Cherry Pie social media stunt, which has seen her urge fans to bake their own pies.
But it was Katy who was baking the pies on Friday – or at least handing them out.

The star, dressed in a pair of bright blue trousers and a plaid crop top passed out boxed up pies to lucky passersby.
Meanwhile, Katy recently debuted a very different look – a Kardashian-Jenner inspired look.

Wearing a latex pink playsuit and wearing her peroxide blonde hair tied back in braids, it was clear Katy had taken a leaf straight out of the Kardashian-Jenner style book.
Katy simply captioned the picture: “Katy Kardashian.”

And it wasn’t long before Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner liked the photo.
Under the sexy snap, yummy mummy Kim also left a number of fire and kiss emojis.
