Many celebrities have encountered different hoaxes on the internet claiming false relationship claims and so on but at times some internet fanatics go wild and spread even horrible rumors like the death of a star.

Sylvester Stallone met with a similar internet hoax that claimed the actor’s death at the age of 71. The internet was soon flooded with condolence messages and posts all over.

As per reports earlier, the bizarre rumor claimed that the actor had been found dead at his LA home.

Weirdly specific, and perhaps that sort of design of the terrible hoax has victimized several devout fans of the actor to fall for it. Finally, the Rocky actor himself had to come forward and clarify the hoax.

To clear up the thick cloud of the rumor, two days after the hoax emerged the actor posted his well-being on social media.

“Please ignore this stupidity…Alive and well and happy and healthy…Still punching,” he wrote on X.

Later, the actor joked in another post on Instagram sharing a video of him and his daughters enduring a hailstorm.

“It’s so great to be back from the dead!” he captioned. Stallone is safe and sound and the 77-year-old is still active in his profession.

Stallone is all set to appear in Expend4bles— the fourth installment to the celebrated The Expendables franchise known for its ensemble cast of action megastars.

Stallone has led the franchise since the first installment and he has geared up for some more action in the latest edition.

The Scott Waugh-directed Lionsgate film also features Jason Statham, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Megan Fox, Dolph Lundgren, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Randy Couture, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran, and Andy García.

But sadly, Expend4bles is the finale for Stallone. After being closely involved with the franchise for the last 12 years, the actor said that he’s ready to move on and “ready to pass the baton on to Jason [Statham] and his capable hands,” he revealed on an Instagram post after wrapping up the movie.

“The greatest thing is being able to provide films and entertainment and maybe there’s a little message in there because what I try to convey in my successful films is the human touch, the bond.

Not so much the action, the action is self-evident, but just relating to the audience in a way they can identify with whatever the mission is with the characters at hand,” he added.

The actor further iterates that he will be “getting ready to accept the next challenge” and that is an assurance for many fans.

The actor will also appear in Thom Zimny’s documentary on the legacy of 50 years of Stallone, Sly, scheduled for a November 2023 release
