Is Lady Gaga Engaged toBoyfriend Michael Polansky? This Accessory Might Be a Clue

Gaga has been quietly dating the entrepreneur since 2019.

Wedding bells may be in order for Lady Gaga! The pop star and her longtime boyfriend, entrepreneur Michael Polansky, just sparked engagement rumors thanks to her latest accessory.

The 38-year-old was photographed by Page Six taking a stroll in West Hollywood, wearing a classic all-black ensemble consisting of a black T-shirt and leggings and an oversized peacoat that she accessorized with sunglasses, pointed black ballet flats, and a Bottega Veneta shoulder bag. But perhaps the biggest — and sparkliest — accessory was a large oval diamond ring worn on that finger.

If true, the engagement rumors shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. Gaga and Polansky have quietly dated each other since 2019. During the pandemic, Polansky would make very brief appearances on Gaga’s Instagram feed with very little public outings of the pair. The couple appeared at the 2021 Presidential Inauguration, where Gaga sang, and most recently appeared at the Super Bowl together in February, where she notably did not have a ring on her finger.

While it’s very unlikely that Gaga or Polansky’s camp will confirm engagement rumors, sources have previously said these two are in it for the long haul. In 2021, a source told People they “don’t seem rushed about getting engaged” but “they almost act like a married couple already.”

“Michael is very sweet and supportive,” the source added. “He is hardworking as well, so he appreciates her focus. They are a great team.”

Gaga’s potential engagement to Polansky would mark her third; she was previously engaged to exes Taylor Kinney in 2015 and Christian Carino in 2017.
