In another development, according to transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano, French international Martial will definitely leave Man United in this year’s summer market for free.

Martial’s contract with the Red Devils expires in June this year with a 1-year extension option. However, MU’s Board of Directors decided not to activate this clause when the two sides no longer feel happy together.

The Athletic site also confirmed that MU will not extend the contract and let Martial leave for free in the summer of 2024.

Even though he is only 28 years old, Martial has clearly lost his form in recent times due to frequent injuries.

The French striker has not played a full 90 minutes for Man United in the past 3 years. The last time this player played was in Man United’s 1-2 defeat against Sheffield United in January 2021.
