The ‘Terminator’ star was a special guest on this week’s ‘New Heights’ podcast episode.
Arnold Schwarzenegger has finally settled his bone to pick with Travis Kelce.
The Terminator star was a special guest on the Wednesday, April 3 episode of Travis’ New Heights podcast with brother Jason Kelce, where he took the opportunity to call out the Chiefs player for some controversial comments he made in the past.
Arnold, 76, brought up a conversation from a May 2023 New Heights episode, during which the two brothers argued about who should be humanity’s representative in the event of an alien invasion.
While Jason, 36, was adamant that Arnold was the right choice, Travis insisted that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was ultimately a better option.
“I’m sending The Rock. Just a physical specimen. Confident. He’ll know what to do,” the tight end stated at the time. “I think his WWE career kind of exceeds anything that Schwarzenegger did.”
So that made things a little bit awkward for Wednesday’s podcast episode, as Travis admitted to being a little anxious about his conversation with the actor.
“When you were pumping me up and you guys were disputing between The Rock and Arnold,” Schwarzenegger said, confessing that “[Travis] was partially right because The Rock is stronger now than I am.”
“He has more muscles than I have right now. His movies are doing really well, so there’s nothing to be taken away from The Rock,” he added.
But Travis felt the need to make up for his previous dig, telling Arnold, “You’re a good man. You’re a good man.”
“My tail was between my legs as you walked in here,” the NFL star added.
And now Travis seems to have nothing but good things to say about the action movie star, as he even hinted at possibly naming his firstborn child after one of Arnold’s movie characters.
“I might name my first kid Conan,” the athlete quipped, in reference to Arnold’s 1982 film Conan the Barbarian. “I might.”
But he might need to talk things over with girlfriend Taylor Swift before setting his heart on the possible baby name!
