Billie Eilish’s shared words related to environmental awareness are said to refer to Taylor Swift.
In an interview with Billboard, Billie Eilish talked about the problem of stimulating vinyl record sales in the music industry, saying that this is destroying our environment.
“A lot of artists release vinyl variations, myself included. The climate crisis is happening now and we are all part of the problem.
We live in an era where for some reason all kinds of vinyl records are being created in different packaging. It increases sales and helps them make more money,” Billie shared.
“It’s such a waste,” she continued, “I’m annoyed that we still care so much about the numbers and you only care about making money. And our favorite artists are doing it.”

Although no specific artist was mentioned in the article, Taylor Swift fans were still outraged, thinking that the star born in 2001 was referring to Taylor.
The reason is because the pop star is famous for releasing a series of vinyl variations for albums.
Most recently, Taylor released eight different versions of her folklore album and four more versions of Midnights .
After being heavily criticized by fans of the Lover singer , Billie finally spoke up. She seemed tired when she was constantly lied to by the audience and did not read the interview carefully.

“It would be great if people stopped putting words in my mouth and actually read what I said,” the multiple Grammy award winner shared on his personal website, “I’m not talking about anyone personally, I I’m saying this is a common problem in the entertainment industry, that when it comes to creating variant albums, a lot of artists do it, including me. The climate crisis is real and we are all the problem, let’s do better things together.”
