Jeremy Clarkson ‘rolls his eyes’ as he spots major issue with next James Bond actor news
Eagle-eyed Jeremy Clarkson has called attention to a 007 plot issue after hearing Aaron Taylor-Johnson, 33, is set to be the new Bond. The Kick-Ass star is rumoured to take over from Daniel Craig, 56, who quit as James Bond a few years ago, with his last film being No Time To Die in 2021.
However, Jeremy, 63, has recalled that Bond met a grisly end in No Time To Die, as several missiles hit the island, marking Daniel’s final scenes. Speaking out on the casting news in his column for The Sun, Jeremy said: “There’s been talk all week about how Aaron Taylor-Johnson is set to be the new Bond.

The Luther actor previously addressed the reports in 2023, admitting: “You know, it’s a rumour that’s stuck with me.
“I think I’m the most famous ‘Bond’ actor that never actually played the part. So, what can I say? I’ll take that.”

According to The Sun, Eon Productions are planning to start filming the 26th Bond film later this year, and Taylor-Johnson is producers’ first choice for the role.
A source told the outlet: “Bond is Aaron’s job, should he wish to accept it. The formal offer is on the table and they are waiting to hear back.
“As far as Eon is concerned, Aaron is going to sign his contract in the coming days and they can start preparing for the big announcement.”
