Taylor Swift and Katy Perry’s feud shows no signs of waning

Swift, 27, had famously withheld all of her back catalogue from the vast majority of streaming services.

But today, however, she has announced a U-turn – making all of her music available to stream legally for the first time.

It may not be pure coincidence that today is also the day that Perry – with whom she has been in the midst of a public spat for many years – has released her long-awaited fourth album, Witness.

Swift’s management explained that the surprise move is a celebration of the fact that 1989, her 2015 album, has now sold 10 million copies worldwide.

Swift has not publicly addressed her Perry feud at any point, although she did strongly hint that her single Bad Blood was about her.

Perry has recently accused her of “character assassination”, telling NME: “No one has asked me about my side of the story, and there are three sides of every story: one, two and the truth.

“I’m not Buddha — things irritate me. I wish that I could turn the other cheek every single time, but I’m also not a pushover, you know?
