Her relationship with Orlando Bloom has been under scrutiny after he was seen cosying up to Selena Gomez last week.

And Katy Perry seemed keen not to fuel any more rumours about the state of their relationship as she reportedly took ‘great lengths to avoid joint photos,’ with her beau at amfAR’s 23rd Cinema Against AIDS Gala in Antibes on Friday.

According to Us Weekly, photographers were asked not to take any snaps of the pair talking together – who arrived separately and sat on adjacent tables but would ‘turn around and tap each other to talk.’

However, despite the reported photography restrictions, the 31-year-old singer couldn’t resist pulling funny faces as she photobombed her boyfriend during the star-studded dinner.

MailOnline have contacted a representative for Orlando and Katy for comment.

Katy was also more than happy to pose for pictures as she arrived at the gala, showing off her incredible figure in an off the shoulder Marchesa gown.

The pair recently brushed off claims Orlando had cheated with songstress Selena Gomez after they were seen getting cosy in snaps. 

Sources told TMZ that the twosome simply went to get food with friends and that there were others in the car with them when they left the hotel.

However, Katy took to Twitter, appearing to call rumours that Orlando had ‘cheated’ on her with Selena a ‘dumb conspiracy’.

The glitzy fundraiser raises money for AIDs research and Katy will perform for the A-list crowd, while Adriana Lima will co-chair the event.

After posing up a storm on the red carpet, the celebrities make their way into a lavish dinner which is followed by a no expense spared auction, with last year’s event raising a staggering $30 million.

The event, which takes place just outside of Cannes, will also feature Kirsten Dunst, Vanessa Paradis and Donald Sutherland who are serving as chairs for the Cannes Film Festival Jury.
