Former child star Macaulay Culkin laughed off the scandal during a stand-up show in Los Angeles last night
Michael Jackson ‘s close pal Macaulay Culkin joked about the late singer’s child s*x abuse scandal at a comedy gig in Los Angeles last night.
The Home Alone actor was good friends with the King Of Pop, who’s been at the centre of gruesome allegations of molestation since the release of shocking documentary Leaving Neverland.
Culkin, 38, brought up the abuse claims during Bunny Ears Podcast Live show in LA on Tuesday night, which was watched by Jackson’s 20-year-old daughter Paris.
During a chat with comedian/singer Weird Al Yankovic, Culkin asked his guest about his own relationship with Jackson.
According to The Sun Online , Culkin said: “I’m going to ask you a very serious question.
“What was your relationship like with Michael Jackson?”
The pair burst out laughing before Yankovic replied: “Um, mostly platonic. I met him two or three times, he was pretty sweet to me.”

The response drew laughter and applause from the audience.
Culkin said: “Sounds amazing, he sounds really cool, yeah” and then revealed he used to watch Yankovic’s parody music videos during stays at Jackson’s Neverland ranch.
The former child star added: “I will say he was a huge, huge fan of yours.
“Yes, he always had your videos kind of playing constantly.”
Jackson’s daughter Paris was seen arriving at the event with her boyfriend Gabriel Glenn, and later headed backstage with Culkin’s partner Brenda Song.

Culkin has been a vocal defender of Jackson over the years, but has yet to comment on the shocking documentary which featured claims of s*xual abuse from Wade Robson and James Safechuck.
Jackson’s family condemned the film in a scathing statement, comparing it to a “public lynching”
The Thriller hitmaker was tried on child molestations charges in 2004-2005 – but he was acquitted on every count.
