Casting Agency Exits Tulsa King After Sylvester Stallone’s Toxic Behavior Allegations

Rose Locke Casting agency released a statement via Facebook announcing their departure from Taylor Sheridan’s Tulsa King

We wanted to send you an update on the happenings here in our casting world. We have chosen to part ways with Tulsa King. We will be finishing up next week and the 12th will be our last day.

We send well wishes to whomever takes over the show. We thank all of you great background artists for your continued support.”

Dee Dee McDaniel Simmons wrote a more in-depth explanation of what happened on Facebook, highlighting Sylvester Stallone’s alleged mean treatment of the background actors.

Several groups are talking about what happened on the set of Tulsa King filming in Atlanta. At first, I had hoped it was just a bad rumor started by 1 person who may have felt some type of way; but there have been countless people who were on set and have stated what they saw, how they were treated, etc.”

The Rocky actor allegedly told the production house to hire “pretty young girls to be around me” instead of the existing background actors that were already on set.

Sadly Sly Stallone and crew made things miserable for the background artists and many have said the set was completely unprofessional and a total mess.

Although I have not personally worked with Rose Locke & CL Casting… I have great respect for them for pulling out of the project and looking out for their background artists.”

Locke encouraged clients to speak out and share anything if they have experienced toxic work problems on the set of Tulsa King. Stallone has not yet made any comments about the allegations.

This is not the first time Stallone was accused of displaying toxic behavior on production sets. Even with his close-knit team from The Expendables, some of the stars were not spared from the actor’s wrath.

In his interview via In Depth With Graham Bensinger on YouTube, actor Dolph Lundgren shared how Stallone was cruel to him while filming.

The Creed star went overboard with his comments, with Lundgren saying, “He was very harsh on me in a scene in Expendables 1, where he kinda yelled at me in front of the whole crew and had me do about 20 takes on a scene.”

There was also an international press that day so everyone witnessed the whole fiasco. If Stallone got away with this, it seems like he might be getting into serious trouble this time if proven that he actually shamed these background actors in Tulsa King.
