Actor Sylvester Stallone is said to be filming a movie away from home and did not know in advance that his wife – former model Jennifer Flavin – filed for divorce, so he felt ‘very shocked’.
According to a source revealed on Page Six , the Rambo star was filming Tulsa King in Oklahoma City when he received news that his wife filed for divorce over the weekend.
Jennifer Flavin went to court to submit papers in Palm Beach, Florida on August 19 on the grounds that her “marriage was irretrievably broken”.

In the petition, Jennifer Flavin also wrote that her husband had “intentionally dissipated and wasted marital assets” and asked Sylvester not to sell or transfer any assets during the divorce process.
However, a close source said: “It’s ridiculous, I don’t understand why Jennifer’s lawyers included this in the divorce petition, it’s just a lie.”
According to Page Six , Sylvester Stallone wanted to resolve family matters privately, but his wife made this public. Responding to the press about his wife’s divorce, the 76-year-old actor said: “I love my family. We are resolving these personal issues amicably and privately.”
Another source shared on TMZ that the conflict between Stallone and his wife stemmed from raising dogs. Sylvester Stallone reportedly wanted a new Rottweiler to protect the house, but his wife couldn’t bear another pet.
The source said they had a heated argument over this and it “led to other problems”. After that, Sylvester Stallone still adopted a dog and named it Dwight after the character in the actor’s new movie. Sylvester posted a photo showing off his pet dog on Instagram with the caption: “So incredibly happy with my new four-legged friend!”.
Sylvester recently changed his tattoo of his wife’s face to that of his dog.
Sylvester also tattooed a dog’s face over his wife’s portrait on his bicep. Earlier this week, the actor’s representative explained that Sylvester wanted to fix the tattoo on his wife’s face because it had faded after many years, but because he made a mistake, he had to get a tattoo of a Rottweiler.
At that time, the representative denied the divorce information.
Responding to rumors of marital problems because of his dog, Sylvester confirmed to TMZ that his dog Dwight was not the reason his wife filed for divorce. Sylvester said they had different opinions and he still loved Jennifer.
