Swiss actress and model Ursula Andress was quite literally the original Bond girl, starring as Honey Ryder opposite Sean Connery in Dr No. The image of her emerging from the sea in a bikini after snorkelling for giant seashells remains one of the most iconic in film history, and was even mimicked in tribute by another brilliant Bond girl, Halle Berry, in 2002’s Die Another Day.
