The latest team to be featured in HBO’s Hard Knocks was revealed on Wednesday.

According to an HBO statement, the New York Giants will be the focus of the forthcoming season of Hard Knocks: Offseason. On Tuesday, July 2, the opening episode of the five-part series will air. New episodes will air every Tuesday after that until July 30.

Hard Knocks is returning to New York City for the second year in a row; the New York Jets were highlighted in the previous offseason run of the renowned program.

This is the first offseason episode of “Hard Knocks,” which has previously covered training camp and the preseason. Regular-season episodes will also be included beginning in 2021 when the Indianapolis Colts join the show.

The Giants, who will commemorate their 100th season in 2024, have never before been on “Hard Knocks,” despite the fact that their New Jersey rivals, the New York Jets, have been on the show often.

The release stated that the series “will bring viewers inside the New York Giants organization as the team prepares for their highly anticipated 100th season. Camera crews will chronicle the team’s every move as general manager Joe Schoen and other members of the team’s front office and staff navigate the critical offseason period from January to July 2024, from the NFL Scouting Combine to free agency, to the NFL Draft, and team minicamps,” via NFL.com.

Episodes of the new offseason “Hard Knocks” will air on HBO on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET starting July 2. They will also be streamed on Max.

The Giants are looking to rebound after a 6-11 campaign in 2023.

After a dismal 2023 season, the New York Giants made a number of noteworthy moves in the offseason of 2024. These included the reported, but ultimately unsuccessful, pursuit of quarterback prospects rated in the first round, the free-agent departure of former No. 2 overall pick Saquon Barkley to the rival Philadelphia Eagles, and the addition of flashy LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers.

In addition, New York added one of the biggest defensive signings when they signed standout edge rusher Brian Burns to a five-year, $141 million contract with $87.5 million guaranteed from the Carolina Panthers.
