Damian Lillard was recently a guest on the show ‘Dinners with Demar‘, hosted by the Bulls forward Demar DeRozan, a good friend of Dame who shares a similar life story. Dinners with DeMar is part of DeRozan’s efforts to raise mental health awareness, as there is a stigma associated with it in the society, that needs to be removed.

On the show, Damian deep dived into his personal life, and talked about the struggles he faces due to being the only millionaire in the his family, as he comes from a humble background.

Damian said, “I don’t have a family member that has had a $100 million, and had to be on TV and had to always behave, it something I had to deal with, and if you don’t deal with it properly, you will spiral out of control.”
