It’s good to be mayor when you’re a Spurs fan. The proof: a signed jersey by Spurs star Victor Wembanyama, courtesy of the big man himself.

Mayor Ron Nirenberg posted a pic of his prized possession Wednesday on social media.

“When Wemby hands you a signed jersey, you make sure everyone who steps foot in your office sees it,” the post stated, punctuated by a #GoSpursGo.

Consider it a picture-perfect dish from the towering Frenchman to the city’s top official.

Back in January, Wembanyama joined Nirenberg in recognizing the International School of San Antonio for its official LabelFrancÉducation accreditation, an award given only to select schools that offer enhanced studies in French language and culture.

Nirenberg posted photos of the event, which included a shot of him holding a Wembanyama jersey while standing next to the player. It’s unclear if that is the same jersey Nirenberg highlighted Wednesday.

In any case, the rest of the city’s citizenry also can score a signed Wembanyama jersey. Just expect to dish out at least $1,000.
