Bronny James has shown off a new look ahead of a potential step up to the NBA.
Bronny, the son of NBA superstar LeBron James, is looking to go pro, having announced his decision to enter the NBA Draft, though he will retain his college eligibility.
“I’ve had a year with some ups and downs but all added to growth for me as a man, student and athlete,” he wrote in April. “I’ve made the decision to enter the NBA Draft while maintaining my college eligibility, and will also be entering the NCAA transfer portal. Thank you to USC for an amazing Freshman year, and as always thankful for my family, friends, doctors, athletic, trainers and fans for their support.”
With the draft set for late June, the USC guard has posted some photos to Instagram in which he’s seen sporting a beard. It’s not as full as LBJ’s, but it still has fans talking.
Check it out below:
Fans Are Loving Bronny James’ New Look
“Loving the beard, let’s go,” one fan commented.
“Full beard? What did you eat?” another wondered.
“He gone be a problem in the NBA watch,” wrote another.
“Looking just like your glorious father,” a third follower commented.
“Felt the aura before I even opened instagram,” a comment read.
Bronny averaged just 4.8 points and 2.8 rebounds per game in his first season with the Trojans, so his decision to declare for the NBA Draft was somewhat of a surprise.
However, he does have a unique card to play, as the team that drafts him will likely get to sign his father, given LeBron’s desire to play with his son.
On that note, the guard has been invited to the NBA Draft Combine, which kicks off this Sunday. As to whether or not he gets drafted remains to be seen.
