Caleb Williams is showing why he is going to hear his name called first by the Chicago Bears in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Williams, who is expected to be selected by the Bears with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 draft after Chicago traded Justin Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers, took the field on Wednesday at USC’s pro day.
He wasted little time showing why he has been the most coveted quarterback for quite some time.
The former USC Trojans star quarterback, who did not compete at the NFL Combine, showed off his strong arm when he launched a football from his own 15-yard line and completed the pass to his wide receiver at the opposing 20-yard line.

Chicago currently holds that first pick and is projected to take Caleb Williams to usher in a new era after the previous one with Justin Fields did not work out so well.
Wide receiver Keenan Allen has not been a member of the Chicago Bears very long, but he made sure to attend USC’s pro day on Wednesday to watch quarterback Caleb Williams.

Williams spent his freshman season at Oklahoma alongside Spencer Rattler. As a freshman, he was able to play in 11 games while racking up 1,912 passing yards on 64.5 percent completion with 21 touchdowns and four interceptions.
Williams exploded as a sophomore in 2022, completing 66.6 percent of his passes for 4,537 yards, 42 touchdowns, and five interceptions. That year, he also rushed for 382 yards and 10 scores en route to winning the Heisman Trophy.
His last season in 2023 saw him complete 68.6 percent of his passing attempts for 3,633 yards, 30 touchdowns, and five picks to go along with 142 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground, via ESPN.com.
