Fresh off of a trip to Heroes and Fantasies earlier this week, Spurs superstar Victor Wembanyama was spotted dining at Rebelle, an upscale seafood restaurant located in the St. Anthony Hotel downtown.

Wemby was joined by Spurs coach Gregg Popovich for the outing, in photos shared by Spurs fan ambassador Mark Burnett on his Facebook page.

Burnett cheekily captioned the photos of the noted pair with, “Coach Pop and his favorite son Wemby spotted last night at Rebelle.”

Keeping a low profile inside the restaurant, known for their lobster rolls, steaks, oysters, and elevated seafood cuisine, Wemby sported a simple black Nike T-shirt, grey sweatpants, and a gold chain. Pop mirrored the 2023 NBA first draft pick with his own relaxed ensemble, donning a simple grey T-shirt and black sweatpants.

Appearing to be deep in discussion in a video from the same outing, also shared by Burnett on his Facebook, the pair were all business, as they were seen heading up a serpentine stairway, deep in discussion. (Question is, did they take advantage of Rebelle’s excellent happy hour deals while they were there? MySA can only speculate.)

“Tim Duncan number two,” Facebook user Scott Wisecarver wrote in the comment thread for the spotted post, with other users speculating that Wemby and Pop were likely discussing the next NBA season.

Rebelle’s executive chef Stefan Bowers had this to say to MySA regarding the celebrity spotting, “We are dedicated to maintaining a relaxed and private environment for all of our high-profile guests whenever they choose to visit.”
