Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez looked incredible as they arrived at The Ned NoMad MTV VMAs afterparty in New York City on Tuesday. The Bad Blood hitmaker, 33, dominated the award ceremony as she won in nine of the 11 categories she was nominated.

She put on a very leggy display in a blue denim corset mini dress, while boosting her height in silver platform heels. Taylor accessorised with a matching handbag, while sporting her signature red lipstick for the event. Meanwhile, Selena put on a busty display in a purple satin corset mini dress, teamed with black pointed heel.

Her raven tresses were styled poker straight and she accessorised with dainty gold jewellery. Saweetie was seen almost spilling out of her blue corset mini dress as she arrived at the afterparty. Taylor and Selena shared a number of cute friendship moments at the star-studded even, including a warm hug.

Both also cheered each other on from the crowd as they won awards – Gomez for Best Afrobeats Video for her ‘Calm Down’ collaboration with Rema, and Swift’s sweeping four wins for Anti-Hero. Taylor won in nine of the 11 categories she was nominated – including Artist of the Year – at the annual event, which was held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

The singer-songwriter won Album of the Year for Midnights and Show of the Summer, in addition to taking home six awards for the video and track for Anti-Hero.
