According to Daily Mail , on March 23, the flight carrying Miley Cyrus from Colombia to the capital Asuncion, Paraguay was caught in a fierce storm. Faced with this situation, the captain had to change direction towards Ciudad del Este, 330 km from Asuncion.

The plane then made an emergency landing, luckily all passengers were safe. However, the Wrecking Ball singer’s plane was damaged due to a lightning strike.

Sharing a short video recording the terrifying scene, accompanied by the passengers’ screams, Cyrus shared: “The crew, band, friends and family – the people who accompanied me on the flight – are all safe. Unfortunately, we couldn’t go to Asuncion.”

Currently, Miley must temporarily stay in Ciudad del Este for a few days to monitor the weather situation. It is unknown whether her upcoming music night in the capital Paraguay will take place as planned or not.
