After rising to fame in the ‘90s thanks to the holiday classic Home Alone, Culkin retired after being made to work extra hard by his father, Kit Culkin, who made him do up to eight movies in five years.

“I wanted to take a break for a while, and eventually I was like, ‘I’m done guys,” Culkin recalled on an episode of Marc Macron’s podcast. “I hope you all made your money because there is no more coming from me.”

Following his recent post, Culkin’s followers urged him to consider returning to film, as they missed his acting. “When are we gonna see this guy in another movie? He is such a great actor.

He was great then and he is still good now,” someone gushed. Another jokingly suggested he and Brenda start a series titled, “Macaulay in The White Lotus.”
