The Oklahoma City Thunder lost to the Dallas Mavericks with a score of 101-105 in game 3 of the playoffs semifinals. Following the game, American sports columnist and ‘Undisputed’ host Skip Bayless expressed his views on the loss via his social media account on X (previously known as Twitter). He criticized the

Thunder for their poor playing, highlighting that they missed several opportunities throughout the game and made too many foolish mistakes.

“So, so, so many blown opportunities for the Thunder. So many dumb mistakes. Hack-a-Lively burned them. Too much Kyrie. Too many missed 3s. OKC just didn’t WANT this one as badly. Surprising and extremely disappointing.” Skip Bayless wrote in his post on X.

According to Skip Bayless’ reaction, it is clear that he has some hopes for the OKC thunder to tie the series in the next game. Kyrie Irving played exceptionally well and took the attention of Bayless.

What was the cause of Oklahoma City Thunder’s loss in game 3?

In the previous game between the Thunder and the Mavericks, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was the star player for the Thunder. He scored an impressive 31 points, but the Mavericks’ defense did an excellent job of limiting his impact on the game.

Despite Gilgeous-Alexander’s dominating performance, the OKC Thunder fell short and lost the game. In the final seconds of the game, Doncic’s amazing skills dominated against Shai and sealed the Mavericks‘ victory. The Thunder will have a chance to recuperate in Game 4 on Monday, but they cannot afford to repeat their mistakes from Game 3. Otherwise, they could find themselves trailing 3-1 in the series. Bayless will be closely watching the Thunder as they attempt to tie the series.

Game 4 of the Round 2 playoff series between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Dallas Mavericks is scheduled for Tuesday at the American Airlines Center. It will be interesting to see if the OKC Thunder can tie up the series.
