Since the Golden State Warriors are out of the post-season tournament, Draymond Green can keep track of the playoffs and share his views like he always does in his podcast. However, this time he appeared on TNT’s “Inside The NBA” to give an insight into his analysis of the different aspects of the NBA and he started off by calling out one of his biggest on-court rivals, Phoenix Suns‘ Jusuf Nurkic.

Green blamed Nurkic for the Suns’ loss in the tournament’s first round against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Completely disregarding the Bosnian center’s playoff contribution to the franchise, Green declared, “The Suns have no big man… KD is the Suns’ big man. They got no big man.”

Although Nurkic played a decent role as the starting center in the regular season, he struggled when the team rolled on to the playoffs. He stood no chance in the four games against the talented Wolves lineup and scored 7.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game.

While one might think that the Warriors veteran can’t stay out of trouble as he reignited his never-ending feud with the 7-foot center, come to think of it Green did state a valid point.

Explaining Draymond Green’s Feud With Nurkic

Draymond Green and Jusuf Nurkic’s fight dates back to December 2023 when the two teams, Warriors and Sun, met for a regular season battle. During the game, Green had struck Nurkic in the face, which resulted in a 12-game suspension for the 4-time champion.

After returning from suspension, the players faced off in another game where they had heated exchanges throughout the match. Taking a jab at the former DPOY, Nurkic stated in a post-game interview, “It’s sad. He didn’t learn anything. Just a matter of time, he’s going to hit somebody else again.”

Green is not somebody who would have taken that lightly. On “The Draymond Green Show” he criticized Nurkic who in return wrote on X that Green needed therapy. A furious Green then used terms like “softy” and “coward” for the 29-year-old in his podcast.

While everyone believed their feud was over, Nurkic sprinkled salt on the wound when the Warriors were swept off in the play-ins and Green returned the favor by rewriting “Unfortunately, that’s all folks!” on X after the Suns’ loss as Nurkic did earlier. Seems like the two have not had enough, and their fight will go on even in the next season, giving the neutrals ample reasons to ready their popcorn.
