Tickets To Browns-Cowboys Week 1 Game Are Going For Astronomical Prices, And NFL Fans Can’t Believe Their Eyes

The Dallas Cowboys were one of the top regular-season teams in the NFL last season. This was evidenced by their impressive undefeated home record last season before they fell to the Jordan Love-led Green Bay Packers in the playoffs. The Cleveland Browns weren’t a bad team, either. Last season, they finished with an 11-6 record.

Browns owner Jimmy Haslam is apparently capitalizing on the Cowboys’ home success from last season, as evidenced by the current ticket prices for the Browns’ home opener against the Cowboys, scheduled for September 8.

One fan on X noted that the prices have officially been posted ahead of Wednesday’s NFL schedule reveal, and they are crazy. McNeil posted to X pointing out that “[the] cheapest opening day… …ticket [right now] is over $200”

Fans Who Want To Watch Browns-Cowboys Game Are Getting Ripped Off

The post goes on to say that the club-level seats range from $600 to $1400, which is crazy compared to the average opening day price in the NFL, ranging from $50 to $150, and some fans are not happy.

One fan pointed out that there would be no point in attending an NFL game today as he would be watching all the games at home, commenting, “Dude, the couch is finna be the spot this year, lol.” Many fans share this sentiment.

Another fan commented on a possible reason for the hike in ticket prices. The reason may be that it will be the first game called by legendary quarterback Tom Brady on his Fox deal. The comment indicated that “the prices went up $120+” after the official announcement.

Whatever the reason, fans remain unhappy with these prices, and hopefully, they will cool off in the near future as the NFL season gets underway in September.
