If there was a Grammy Award for cutest little kid, Billie Eilish would’ve started winning long before she became a pop icon in her teen years.
The “No Time to Die” singer has shared several glimpses into her childhood on Instagram, often posting baby pictures of herself and big brother Finneas. The sibling duo has won numerous accolades in adulthood, but their precious throwback photos prove the lasting depth of their bond.
From birthday posts to cheeky flashbacks, see some of Billie Eilish’s cutest snaps — before she soared to stardom.
Messy Days
In a photo dump on Instagram, the “Therefore I Am” singer included a photo of her younger self holding on to an empty pot of food. Eilish’s messy toddler face and Powerpuff Girls T-shirt suggests she helped herself to whatever had been cooking.
Sibling Bond
Eilish paid homage to her older brother and collaborator, Finneas, with a precious Instagram throwback on his 26th birthday in 2023.
“My best friend forever. will never love anyone as much as i love you @finneas happy birthday you are the best thing i have,” she captioned her post.
Baby Billie
Before she became an Oscar winner and seven-time Grammy winner, Eilish was just a little girl in the same baggy clothes she was known for wearing at the start of her career.

BILLIE EILISH/INSTAGRAM
The “Happier Than Ever” singer admitted the Golden Globes “scare the living hell” out of her when she picked up her second win for best original song in 2024. But she’s certainly matured since the days when a unicorn-topped cake made her upset.
On her 21st birthday in December 2022, Eilish uploaded a tearful (albeit adorable) throwback of herself sitting behind the colorfully frosted dessert and looking less than pleased.

Growing Up Together
This year, Eilish and Finneas could win a second Oscar for their heartfelt hit “What Was I Made For?” from the Barbie movie soundtrack. Their magnetic sibling bond is palpable even in their childhood memories, like in these sweet snaps Eilish posted to celebrate Finneas’ birthday in 2018.
Best Friends Forever
In her caption, the songstress penned an effusive, all-caps ode to Finneas, whom she called her “big brother and best friend.”
“I WOULD BE PRECISELY NOTHING WITHOUT HIM,” she wrote. “HE IS MY WHOLE WORLD AND I WOULD DO ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING FOR HIM. ANYTHING ANYTHING ANYTHING.”
Barbie Girl
Before getting an official Oscar nod, the Academy shortlisted “What Was I Made For?” in the Best Original Song category, prompting Eilish to share a throwback photo of herself clad in Barbie pink. Curled up on a sofa, the baby star can be seen napping in a bubblegum tutu.
Way Back When
In 2020, Eilish shared a baby photo for her own 19th birthday — a darling photo of her mini-self in a bucket hat and patterned pajamas.
Holiday Memories
The brother-sister duo looked cozy in blue and pink pajama sets sitting by a Christmas tree in a photo Eilish posted on social media. Per an image file name included in her post, the holiday throwback was snapped in 2004.
Full Circle Moment
Eilish’s preteen dreams came true when her favorite artist, Justin Bieber, featured on a remix of her 2019 single “Bad Guy.” She proved her devotion to Bieber by sharing a photo of herself in her childhood bedroom, which was covered in posters of the former teen idol.
“ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE MAN,” Eilish said in the post’s caption, which featured her in a rainbow sequin ensemble.
Forever Fan
When Justin Bieber dropped his album Changes in February 2020, Eilish posted another picture from her super-fan days, before the two stars formed a personal friendship.
She posted the throwback of herself wearing a Bieber tank top alongside more photos of her poster-clad bedroom walls. The post — which she captioned “stream changes” to support his album — also included a clip of Bieber tearfully talking about his relationship with Eilish.
“I just want to protect her,” he said in an interview with Beats 1’s Zane Lowe. “I don’t want her to lose it. I don’t want her to go through anything I went through. I don’t wish that upon anybody. If she ever needs me I’m just a call away.”
