Zendaya and Tom Holland are one of the internet’s favorite couples for a reason — their love for each other goes both ways, with the latest example of their mutual adoration coming from the actress during the Dune: Part Two press tour.

During an appearance on Buzzfeed’s puppy interview series, Zendaya was posed with a playful question about which of her male co-stars from “Dune,” including Timothée Chalamet and Austin Butler, possesses the most “rizz” (short for charisma). Initially responding with a jest, “Me! Hello?” Zendaya then paused to reconsider the query and realized that the person she knows with the most charisma, or “rizz,” is her boyfriend.

Clarifying her interpretation, Zendaya remarked, “Rizz is short for charisma, right? Everybody’s kind of got their own.” While she acknowledged the abundance of charisma within her “Dune” co-stars, she highlighted someone outside of the cast who exemplifies remarkable charisma for her, mentioning “Mr. Tom Holland.”

Zendaya elaborated further, expressing how her innate shyness contrasts with Tom Holland’s natural charisma. She explained, “I’m more shy and kind of quiet, so it takes a little bit more to pull me out of my shell, but he’s great at just talking to people and getting to know people. You see him on talk shows and stuff like that. He’s just naturally very good at that. Whereas for me, I’ve definitely had to pull it out of me a little bit. He’s got that natural gift.”

The couple’s relationship blossomed after they met on the set of “Spider-Man: Homecoming” in 2017. Despite their obvious connection, they kept their romance under wraps until 2021, when paparazzi photos of them kissing surfaced online. Tom Holland addressed their relationship in a November 2021 interview with GQ.

In a separate interview with The Hollywood Reporter in June, Holland emphasized the couple’s desire to protect their relationship’s privacy. He stated, “Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of, and we want to keep as sacred as possible. We don’t think that we owe it to anyone; it’s our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers.”

Zendaya and Tom Holland are known for keeping the details of their relationship private, but occasionally they share intimate glimpses into their lives. In a discussion about her upcoming film “Challengers” with Vogue, Zendaya opened up about witnessing her boyfriend navigate his sudden rise to fame after starring in the “Spider-Man” franchise.

“We were both very, very young, but my career was already kind of going, and his changed overnight. One day, you’re a kid, and you’re at the pub with your friends, and then the next day, you’re Spider-Man,” she shared. “I definitely watched his life kind of change in front of him. But he handled it really beautifully.” Zendaya also expressed her pride and support for Holland as he prepares for his role in the West End show of “Romeo & Juliet,” stating, “I could not be more proud. I’m going to try to see as many shows as I possibly can.”

Zendaya’s sentiments echo those expressed by Holland back in 2017, following the premiere of “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” when he was adjusting to newfound fame. At the time, he referred to Zendaya, then just his co-star, as “the best of friends” and relied on her guidance in navigating the challenges of fame. “Zendaya is super famous, and she’s been through this,” he said. “I just call her up and say, ‘How do I manage being famous?’ I’m very glad I have a friend like her.”

Fast forward to 2022, and the couple has become accustomed to living under the spotlight. Zendaya reminisced about a date with Holland at the Louvre Museum in Paris, despite warnings against it due to the crowds. Despite the advice, they proceeded with the date and still managed to have a great time together.

It was actually fine,” she recalled. “You just kind of get used to the fact that, Oh, I’m also one of these art pieces you’re going to take a picture of. I just gotta be totally cool with it and just live my life.” Fame ultimately has its perks, as staffers at the museum let her and Holland stay after closing. “It was one of the coolest experiences ever,” Zendaya added. “It was like Night at the Museum.”
