MEGAN McKenna is expecting her first baby with footballer Oliver Burke.

The former Towie star, 31, shared the happy news with fans tonight, writing alongside a cute video: “A little bit of you and a little bit of me… now we’re a family.”

Their famous pals and friends were quick to congratulate them, with Wayne Lineker writing, “Congrats guys. Guess we won’t be seeing you at Ocean this year then, Megs.”

Liberty Poole commented, “Congrats beautiful! So excited for you!!!”

And Chelsee Healey said, “The best news – life starts now.”

The news comes after Megan has turned her hand to cooking this past year, often showing off huge meals she is making. The star has been continuously trolled over her portion sizes, but it now appears she has been eating for two.

Whirlwind romance

The football star, 26, got down on one knee on June 14 of last year – after just five months of dating.

Megan and Oliver’s engagement came shortly after they made their red carpet debut as a couple. They shared a romantic video of the proposal, which took place in Montenegro. Megan expressed her excitement to fans, saying, “YES YES YES a thousand times YES. You have opened up a world I never thought was possible. I love you Oliver Burke… here’s to forever my future husband.” Oliver also shared his love and commitment, stating, “I promise to love you for the rest of my life. I can’t wait to grow old with you my wife to be. I love you. Forever. And always.” The couple then moved into a home together, with Megan leaving her beloved Essex behind, and they even got matching tattoos to symbolize their commitment.

Hospital stay

Last November, Megan had a hospital stay – telling fans at the time she needed an operation on her tummy.

It didn’t go quite according to plan, and she shared: “Hello, I know I told you all I was recovering last week. I had a small procedure in my belly last Monday which has led to some complications inside (it’s very painful & so uncomfortable to move).

The star added: “It got worse Thursday & I was admitted to hospital Friday. All the nurses are so lovely, so I’m in good hands. Miss cooking my dinners & sharing with you all.

“Just need some good energy put out for me please so I can get better to put up my tree & cook cute winter dinners.”
